It takes many volunteers to plan and execute an event of this size. Annually we receive assistance from anywhere between 75 to 100 student and adult volunteers. High School Students can even achieve

Our Focus
Our focus is to provide a community event which supports inclusion regardless of ethnicity, religion, age or economic position. All are welcome to enjoy this free event which includes:
- Live children’s entertainment, face painting, balloon artistry, glitter tattoos, numerous mascots
and Disney princesses and contests. - Friday night a Free Family Concert is enjoyed by all with Canadian Classic Rock acts. Centennial Square has seen past artists such as Lee Aaron, Streetheart, Harlequin, Honeymoon Suite and 2024’s Big Top Radio.
- Toro Security professionals are present all weekend to ensure a safe and fun weekend for all!
- Local food and merchandise vendors,
- Select Shows provides a super fun selection of amusement games and rides including a train designed especially for the community of Transcona.
- We are proud to provide public information booths promoting family health, safety, finances, etc. and to promote our local businesses
- Enjoy a wide variety of free entertainment as we proudly showcase a variety of local talent.

Volunteer Application
If you are interested in volunteering for the Transcona Hi Neighbour Festival, please fill out the application form below. It takes many volunteers to plan and execute an event of this size. We anticipate attendance numbers between 75,000-150,000. With your
HIGH SCHOOL STUDENT CREDIT OPPORTUNITY
DID YOU KNOW…that you can earn an extra full or half credit in order to achieve your diploma? Our volunteer coordinator about the Community Service Student Initiated Project or SIP. She would be pleased to provide the volunteer hours required to gain a half or full credit under this program. All required documents and information provided.
All applications will be reviewed by the Board of Directors.

Parade Application
The Transcona Hi Neighbour Inc. Board of Directors reserve the right to accept or deny any parade entries as they see fit, and we do not offer any exclusivity.
Vendor Application
Vendors are responsible for bringing their own tables, chairs and tents. Please be advised that the Hi Neighbour Festival committee will have to approve the size of tent before setup.
The Transcona Hi Neighbour Board of Directors reserve the right to accept or deny any vendors as they see fit, and do not offer any exclusivity.
